What's your dream tank?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
A few ideas. South American biotope with pacus, arowanas, oscars, rays. Thousands of gallons and visible through a glass pane in my basement. The top would be an open pond for top viewing.

How much for a white shark? I’ll settle for a couple thousand with black tips, rays, morays, clownfish, triggers, gobies, lionfish, basically a mix of huge and small reef fish. Centered around the sharks.

Hmm, this thread looks familiar...

I would love to have a 12-13 foot, 24W x 28T panoramic tank with long log structure, round rock and tangles of vines. A giraffe cat (smaller type), 3 synos, 4 oscars, 1 jumbo parrot and about 30 dithers (25 mollies, 5HRPs). Toss in 4 acaras and 2 red shoulder sevs too! BOOYA. :headbang2

Too bad I'd have to reconfigure the rec room to do it. And like, save money for two years, lol.

Probably won't come happen for a couple of decades ,but here's mine! :) 7 x 3 x 3 - polypterus and asian arowana.
8 x 3 x 3 - pair of Channa marulius/ bullseye snakehead or a pair of channa maruloides/emperor snakehead.
4 x 2 x 2 - pair of channa aurantimaculata /golden cobra snakehead (the odds of me getting a 120 are better though lol). List out your crazy ideas !
Since we’ve talking dream tanks, I would like to turn a large swimming pool into a reef

Ultimate fantasy, 500' x 300' dogbone aquarium for great white sharks and blue marlins. Would hopefully be big enough. Thats 3 times the size of any aquarium anyone has ever tried to keep them in. Also add a 150' wide cylinder tank for narwhal.
