i don't understand why you messed up the silver's reputation so much when all is being asked is what arowana you like the most? and for you blacks are ok when the only difference between silvers and blacks are the slight color differences in their fins. and blacks are slightly not prone to DE.

Exactly, is it the DE that is ugly or the silver aro itself? Wonder how he feels about asians with DE?

My favorite is the silver aro. They are the largest, most inexpensive, and easy to find aro. Blacks are expensive and hard to find (at least they are where I live), Jars are too agressive, Africans just look like grass carp to me, and the only way I would ever spend $400+ on a fish would be if it was garunteed to live for at least thirty years, and Asians are illeagal anyway.
