In that case, I'll play along.
I like all aros. The more healthy the better
Arapaimas, blacks, silvers, asians, jars, lei's and africans. Not exactly in that order, but u get the point.
Maybe we can have a new thread titled what's your favorite color? I'd love to share my thoughts about that as well.

If you don't feel like participating, don't...this thread has no more or less merit than plenty of other non "educational" threads....this is a forum, not a Q&A board.

And, as apparently you have failed to understand what people (say perhaps retailers and importers) could learn from this, I'll enlighten you; understanding trends and why people like certain things over others is an essential part of any hobby.

The picture you shown is a super red. It's that kinda red that wont turn red.

i say all aros
Asian-there massive size when adult,color(espcially Gold),shape
Australian-there like asians but they have nice patterns
South American-elegant shape,and there long huge size,and color since they can vary depend on diet(except blacks but black looks tight at big size)
African-there massive size,shape,way of feeding,cute looking

I love all sort of arowanas. And that's why I keep them all in my house. But still couldn't get myself a black, lei and afican aro....

An orange or yellow colored Red arowana are considered 2nd grade reds. 1st grade red are the true super reds.

Lol! Chili red and blood red are considered under 1st grade super reds (True super red as they get "RED"). Yellow red and Orange red are considered 2nd grade super red. All are type of Red arowana. A yellow red and Orange red can also have parents and siblings that are True super reds. It's just that they never turned out to be the True super red that's why they end up in 2nd grade. Not all fry will get really really Red as some of them will just become low quality. Only the selective one gets to become the 1st grade red.
