....didn't mention why.I like their colors and the tail shape,they are not hard to feed and the electric blue streaks that they have on their faces.

I might actualyl change mine to Champsochromis Caeruleus. the Malawi trout cichlid, shaped, like a torpedo and is a fast open water predator
 
Cyphotilapia gibberosa, mikula variant beacause of the long trailers and deep blue color, also the way they majestically move. They are found in the deep lake of tanganika. Its crazy how theyre brought up to the surface, slowly. Sometimes lasting longer than a week.... wish I had a pic at hand...sry

I had only one and it wasn't overly aggressive but it would make sure that its supreme rule of the tank was understood by its cohabitants lol..I raised it on floating pellets and had it for a number of years...That documentary is what got me hooked on them,after seeing it I searched high and low until I found one.

My Favorite cichlids are Geophagus Altifrons. Love their color and long trailers. Love the fact that they are slow growers so when you see a large one you know someone spent the time and dedication. Love the fact that they are a very versitile community fish able to swim with large aggressive tankmates and peaceful enough to keep with discus and angels.
