What's your favorite Cichlid?

Jags are sweet. I have two now. I have to say my favorite right now is cichlasoma festae.

I walked into work after a week vacation and saw about 4 of these covered in body fungus. I grabbed 3 of them and took them home. 1 died later that day but i managed to save the others with a little melafix and pimafix. So now i have a 3'' one and a 1.5'' one hopefully a male and a female.

I am gonna have to add some more fish to my list. I already said I liked convicts, Midas, oscars and pikes but recently I have taken an interest in Thorichthys species....not just the firemouth...even though thats what I have but all of them. I don't know why, just something about them.

I mean seriously...how could anyone resist Thorichthys pasionis

I also like Herichthys species as well...like this guy...awsome fish.

Nice tastes. Do you currently have any pureblood labs, hippiechick?

I'm not sure. Supposedly they are, but you know how it goes getting fish from LFS's. They were privately bred.
