What's your favorite Cichlid?

Great fish guys...but still don't come close to pike cichlids and Hoplarchus psittacus!

That my friend is really a matter of opinion. Most of large tanks have some of my favorite central americans. Pearsi, Bocourti, Regani, Argentea and Breidohri are among my favorites. OH and i forgot about my Urau Fernandez and my psittacus downstairs.

I've always liked Jack Dempseys, and I'm looking toward trying the Blue JD.

oooh... the bartoni is a great cichlid, so much attitude for it's size! and i love their tuxedo colors

but my overall favorite would have to be the Oscar, wish i could get my hands on the 'bumblebee' kind Rapps had before...
