What's your favorite cichlids?

has to agree. convicts and firemouths and blue acaras are the fishes that got me into the hobby. old skool cichlids are cool.
 
Central Americans are definitely my favorite. Everything from Dovii to Sajicas. My favorites are definitely in the Vieja and Paratheraps genus's.

Totally agree! No matter how many fish I've owned, Convicts have always been one of my favorite lil' brutes. But my list also includes:Festae, Synspilum, P-Bass, and Texas. I never really cared for Oscars.
 
Severums are my fav. I love my EBJD, pike are cool, Geos are neat,

I also like dwarfs and since people like cichlids but might not have space for monster tanks it would be good to have dwarfs like keyholes, rams, small and acaras.
 
The almighty CRENICICHLA is top dog for me!!!

after that:
GT's(with humps)
RT(females)
Vieja family
FH's
RTM's(females)

There is too many to go on but If you have a wide and hard to find types of the above list. Youll make a killing!!!

Alot of people on here are addicted to PB, Arowna's, and dats!! Thats also another good market to target!!!
