well, none of mine beat these, but I'll give them annyway.

Firstone, a heater gets stuck in the on position, in a tank that had a ray in it. It fried the ray, that was the most expensive fish I had lost up to that point.

Recently, I tried flower rays. I got one, it was doing awsome and eating, everything going well. I added another one, then it stoped eating. The newest one dies, then a week later the other one died. I have to say, it really hurts the wallet when your only 16.

my brother got drunk one night. not wanting to drink alone he decided to get the fish drunk(with a fifth of vodka) next morning after learning what happened and several water changes latter i had lost a golden asian arrow a mated pair of tiger oscars and my only rtc i didn't speak to him for a month makes me even angrier now that asian aaros are illegal. my condolences to everyone else pet losses are truely horrendous

I've lost my 5 foot arapaima when I tried to transfer him to a new tank from the pond, he was trashing like hell when we (five adults) fish him out with a huge net and he hit his head on the concrete wall of the pond, he died after a few days even with full medications... I was devastated...
