Do Reptiles NEED UVB and UVA light?

I think it depends on the animal. Most nocturnal reptiles won't need UV rays because they don't receive any in the wild. Most diurnal animals that bask probably need UV rays, although probably not all of them.

^ This. I didn't vote because it wasn't really an option, but my rule of thumb is diurnal herbivores and insectivores need it, and it's not so important with carnivores like snakes and large lizards that get whole vertebrate prey. I wouldn't raise baby basking-type turtles without UVB or preferably access to natural sunlight.

i'd like to see someone raise up an iguana to adulthood without any exposure to UV rays..whether in the form of a bulb or natural sunlight.

it can't be done.

depends on the species. the caiman im getting does NOT need it. In fact it doesnt do a thing for it. other species require it.

Surprise surprise. They do need uvb. If u ever saw caiman in the wild, they are usually basking at dusk or dawn.

u do know there are different species right?

evidently you dont
