What's your PITA list?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Being sold 'males' then waking up to clouds of babies.

"Game of Thrones" tanks with devils, butti, chanco and black nasties in a 300. The owner brags about how he/she made this work (when no one in history has). Followed by a stupid video on YouTube that's usually eight years old with no updates.

"Healthy" fish because the water is clear. So is Vodka, but I ain't filling my tank with it.
Hell yeah! Vodka ain't for filling tanks!

5 for me

1) "Guess what's in the box" threads. Who cares, we'll see the "surprise" when it's in the tank. It's already stressed out from being shipped and you wanna make a thread?

2) People that ask for solutions to problems but don't follow up to how and if the problem was resolved and what worked.

3) people that critique others on what people keep in their tanks. If someone wants to keep fish from different regions with a bikini bottom theme let them. It's their tank.

4) when people have to point out a fish/tank for sale is overpriced. Everyone has the right to sell their stuff for whatever they want. If its overpriced to you DON'T BUY IT.

5) Any and all short body fish

This was therapeutic. I feel so much better lol

asking how a hybrid will turn out or what it's called- it's a d*mned hybrid that's all

asking for the most aggressive fish

asking for the "best" fish

Responding to every question stating that said fish needs a size tank that is not available as a standard product

Angelfish and Discus

Malawi Mbunas and peacocks

fish stores selling fish that get larger than the largest aquarium THEY sell

Ppl who are very set in their ways and can only see the world through their lens

This website not automatically converting units of measure to the norm where the user resides. I know metric is far and away more sensible but aside from 1"= 2.54cm or 1 gallon = 3.8 liters (thank you urinals!!) it's just annoying to convert things

Malawi Mbunas and peacocks
I know a fellow who recently set up a 90g. I asked him what type of Malawi he purchased. He was insisting that they were known as assorted.
