Whats your preference on footprints?

WIDE is best for just about everything. I have a 5x3x2. 3 feet wide, there is so much space its like a small pond.

Yup after having a 24" deep tank the 18" tanks just dont cut it for me. Even if its 2' longer.

The "ideal proportions" for me are: 4 long - 2 wide - 1 tall. So, something like 8x4x2, 10x5x2,5...etc

Having said that, none of my tanks respect - exactly - that proportion (lol), but some are close, specially the bigger one (10x4x2,4") and the "primitive tank" 60x40x24".

Size queen, lol.

Every dimension as large as can fit and I can afford. Footprint is most important for me, especially because I'm a catfish guy. I like my tanks about twice as long as wide.
