I had a blue acara\ green terror mix and @ 2" it tried to kill everything...

It really all depends on the individual fish, I've seen some really awesome hybrids (Texas Terrors, FH's) then some are just ugly as sin (like the JD/Texas's we have a HOT).

I voted: I don't care.

Who am I to tell others what kind of fish that they should like or not like.

If I were someone who likes big, mean cichlids, then flowerhorns offer more of what you like: more color, more aggression, bigger head, etc.

That's why I assume that they were created in the first place.

The thing I have against hybrids is stuff like: If you want to get a trimac, you'll almost always end up with low grade fh's. Basically they are bad for the gene pool if you want a pure fish. Some people don't label hybrids as hybrids, such as the rd/midas. Peeps try to pass off low grade fh as trimacs, etc etc. If any of my fish hybridize, I feed the fry to my other fish.

I can understand people liking flowerhorns though, I just don't like the fact that hybrids often end up making the fish that are available in the hobby, unpure.
