Whats your view on illegal fish keepers?

i dont care who keeps what. jus do a good job keeping it and u get my vote.
i'll keep whatever fish i choose to. illegal fish jus carry heavier price tags. the only fish i dont really care to keep anymore that i used to wanna kill for is an asian arowana.
i think there shouldn't be a regulation of what kinda fish u can keep or not, only if its endangered or something.

Every week I pour a bag of Hikari in the river and hope they'll eat some.
There's already 100s of goldfish in the river so I don't want to add any more, maybe some guppies or barbs.
What, do alot of us Aussies keep illegal fish. I guess it doesn't help that we are only allowed to keep a handful of cichlids to begin with.masone;894494; said:

i don't care either way. i'd love for fw rays and asian aro's to be legal in ca, but if they're never made legal i won't care.
its boils down like this for me. i'm going to do what i want to do (as long as it isn't harming anyone else) and no law is going to stop me. the only law i break regularly is the speed limit. and i REALLY enjoy breaking it...lol. i used to have to be at work at 4am so i had the opportunity to take my 97 911 turbo or my ducati to the limit on the 405 freeway. i've been up to 175 in my porsche and 150 on my bike. doesn't harm anyone else, but is WAAAY illegal and, in my opinion, WAAAY fun.
now, back to the topic at hand. if i get by the right "bug" i may end up owning a couple fw rays or asian aro's. its not difficult to get ahold of one if you have been in this hobby for awhile and know a few people.and the laws here are so horribly enforced i wouldn't be afraid at all of getting in trouble.
