whats your view on sharks?

I used to be afraid to swim in the ocean for fear of sharks. Then while in Bora Bora I swam/snorkeled with about 40 sharks. Blacktip and whitetip reef sharks, Lemon and others. Granted these where not Tigers or bulls but the experience was great and my fears are gone.

That's what I'm talking about. It's all about knowing the facts and ignoring the fiction that the media has shoved down our throats for so long.
 
Actually - I would say Jellies are far scarier than sharks.

Jellies have a very simple nervous system so they usually sting virtually everything they touch. Also many species often seem to be virtually invisible in the water. Also more people may be stung by jellies every year than are attacked by sharks. While most stings are not fatal. There are some species of jellies who's stings are so toxic that they can be just as deadly as a bite from one of the most venomous snakes or spiders in the world.
