I got reall ansy when i finally got my custom 5x2x2 tank in and i did something EVERYONE knows not to do i bought alot of fish at one time and with a new tank setup... like 200 bones... on the plus note i came back and told the store what i did and they felt sorry for me and gave me 25% next couple purchases but turns out i start working there and learn everything about anything. Was an adventure. Thank You

Man I remember working in an aquarium shop and i had to catch a 7 inch sucker. I didn't know about the spine on the dorsal and it went about 1/2 into my middle finger. I swear it felt like it "stung" me cuz i couldn't feel most of my arm for like an hour.
marbled pim was the worst purchase I made. I got lucky though because the 2cm fish grew into a 14" fish in about 8 months to the guy I sold it to.
Mine was just this week......... on impulse I bought 3 Endli. Bichirs, about 8" ea..........
paid good money, drove an 1.5 hrs. round trip, had them for 8 hours and found them on the floor dried like a chamois the next morning!

I bought a 5 inch TSN and put it in with my new Jardini (6-7") and it almost lasted 24 hrs and the damn jardini ate him!!! I hate $25.00 feeders !!! LOL...
WA! 6 inch jardini eat 5 inch shovelnose!!! thats impossible....like physically....the jardini would choke to death while trying to swallow it

but yeh just to contribute to the thread, i think my worse buy was my tiny 4 inch BGK. all it did was hide under the cave all the time. it never really grew and one day it disappeared in my arowanas belly. really pointless...sigh

you guys get giant snakeheads in malaysian right? i've seen them do the same sort of stuff an 11" snakehead, eats a 8-9" catfish.
