a stuped pacu they are jerks it ate my FW sting ray (wich was stuped on my part to put them together) i just gave him away today. and he half of my bottem feeder. so dont buy one of thes if u are planing one geting other fish

My first tank with what id consider real fish was a tank of Mixed african cichlids and what I was told was a "South American Pike Cichlid" (Belly crawler pike)
Well.. Everything actually worked out fine, it was a 40g breeder, the Pike grew large (7-8") and hid behind a rock all day, and i had 4 other 6" long fish, all happy. So one day I pick up an electric blue Jhonny well, its a long slender fish, my pike sucked it up like pasta. $20 feeder, not so bad now, but at 11 it sucks ass.
Second bad pic... When I was younger my uncle had an Electric Catfish... and a larger tank with some cichlids and an Arow, all living happily, no aggression. ONE day he picked up a Buttikoferi, 7" little guy, terrorized the entire tank, even was beating up the Arow, who was 18" at the time, so he finally got sick of it, took a hit in the wallet and put it in the tank with the Electric Catfish..
Well it beat the crap out of the catfish and the elec cat couldn't kill it, so he gave it away... What did I do ? I got one for MY tank with the cichlids and pike, after the jhonny died, figured I needed something a little tougher...
Well, he never killed the pike but everything else was nuked within a few hours. I came back to find it killing the last fish, and at that point all I could do was watch. Still love butti's but im not feeding it any tank mates.

yes they are a pretty fish when i got to see them which was often at first and then never toward the end.
My worst purchase hhad to be a school of 5 Bala Sharks for my 10 Gal when i first started out... They were the spookiest fish in the world... as soon as you came close to the tank they did their best to jump out... AND they out grew my tank in like 4 months..
