I didnt buy it but my wife came home with a 4" Redtail Catfish last night. We have a 37g tank.... Im looking at building a 500g plywood tank to house him and some other fish id like to get. once he out grows that we have some fairly large ponds on some family property ill release him into
Mine would be my male red isletas cichlid I got to breed with my female. Not only have they not shown any signs of breeding, but he's very skiddish and just hides. Dropped $115 on him

Been in my 200 for astound 4 years and never seen it free swimming. I took out some wood around a month ago and it was under it in a crevis, I thought it was dead, dropped it back in the tank and it hid straight away, not seen it since its just an oxygen thief

like someone else said, snails... thought it was a good idea to get some malaysian trumpet snails to turn my sand over, now there are 1000's of them. luckily im upgrading tanks soon, but never again!!! That and not just going out and getting a big tank to begin with... got back into fishkeeping after a break of 4 years and convinced myself id be happy with a 12 gallon tank with a few tetras. a year and 5 tanks later and maybe ill be happy with the 180 when it arrives?
Oh, and a Raphael striped catfish, got him a month or so back, put him in a 90 gallon mixed cichlid tank. Saw him once about a week after I got him and another time a week or so back when I did a water change

years ago i thought the african clawed frogs looked neat.
bought two, female ate the other female. female ate all the food for all the other fish. female ate the other fish. female died at about four years old being 9 inches.
