what's your worst purchase

I bought 8 cory cats and put them in a tank with river rock substrate. By the next day 6 of them had gotten themselves wedged in between rocks and died.

I didn't buy the fish. But I traded my neighbor a 6 pack for his 55gallon tank.. with the pacu included! Ugh. I hated that fish. He broke the filter and the heater in a matter of days. He was gone very quickly. Haha.
Also my fathers snapping turtles.. sure they look cool, but I swear they have not moved at all since we last dumped goldies in the tank. And I would sure love to have that big tank they are in now!

A 6" arapaima, my 12" paroon shark swallowed 70 dollars right out of my pocket damn bastard fish so now hes problably in someone elses tank swallowing all of their fish.
a red bellied pacu that was smaller than a quarter, went into my 10g then into a 20g tall and then when it hit 8.5" back to the pet store.
About 5 years ago and fresh into the hobby, i had a nice 29gal community tank with a school of 6 Ghost Cats, some black tetras, a common pleco, and a small raphael cat. Well one day i saw a koo looking fish, a senegal bichir. I immediatly bought one without any warning from the fish store owners. Well i put the bichir in and everything was koo. The next day i noticed that some ghost cats were missing. "Innocently" the bichir drifted from behind the tank with one of the ghosts in his mouth. I feel in love with the sight of predation. I watched him slowly stalk all the ghosts and tetras. I still have that same bichir and he still loves to eat!
mine would have to be a clown laoch from my LFS the fish didnd even make it into the house, my sister dropped it up the stairs and it died!!!!!!!
