TELL YOU WHAT IF YOU POSTED LINKS ON PURPOSE THAT TRY TO INSTALL A SPYWARE PROGRAM ON MY COMPUTER YOU ARE A PUTZZ IN THE LARGEST FASHION OF THE WORD!!!!!!!!!!!!

if you did not, you really need to rethink of your photohosting source as that link just tried to put some programs on my computer

For heaven's sake, folks, enough derailing the thread. We have enough number of threads chopped down like trees due to morals and ethics debates. Leave this to the OP what he wants to his fish. It's his fish, not merely our own to decide what we want on them.

Furthermore, I clicked the links and there is nothing wrong with them. If there is an issue with your computer, I think you need to look into the anti-virus programs and other installments you have otherwise please resolve this issue with the OP regarding his photo hosting preferences.

salt water. I really hope all goes well for those fish OP. Good luck, you'll need it.

Well the mangove snapper and bumblebee grouper do live in brackish and fresh when juviniles.

Aight, let's not flame the poor guy, and let's not get this thread closed. IMBE with marine, over 40 ppm nitrates kills most marine fish, including groupers, so his water quality must be pretty OK, if they're surviving in fresh. I do doubt that they will live their full lifespan, but he is also playing this well. A demonstration point is the horseshoe crab. I've seen adults survive fresh, albeit juvies die quickly, but BOT, if this works out, we may have an advancement in fishkeeping. If this thread is closed, MFK would take a lot longer to learn about it.

I think you guys scared the OP away...

I northern australia we get alot of typically marine fishes landlocked in freshwater rivers which stop flowing during the dry season, i have personally seen. sharks-bull,bronzewhaler,threasher,lemon,tiger,nurse,pig eyed all in freshwater landlocked.
barramundi, mangrovejack, stingray, coral trout, grouper, scat, archer fish, all in completely fresh and also in completely marine environments in the wild.
I know barramundi farms in the top end keep barra in salt water ponds due to the rapidly increased growthrates of these fish in salt water. How many barramundi keepers keep your barra in salt ?? not many.
