When is it really "too many pets"

I have up to 24 cats at one time (most are kittens). We (wife) rescue and foster. Only a hand full are actually ours. The back yard is cat fenced so they have the run of the place but cant get out. I have many robotic litter boxes so cleaning is super easy. I have to admit it is a fun and fulfilling hobby.
And people give me s**t because of the mini zoo at my house. I have: the wife, a baby due in 3 months, a 6 month old Akita, (my avatar) 6 parakeets, a 2 1/2, 29, 40 breeder and 3 cats. Our first 2 cats were adopted at separate animal shelters at two different posts where I was stationed and our 3rd and most recent arrival is a cat that I adopted in Afghanistan and was able to bring home from Afghanistan thanks to an awesome dog rescue group called Puppy Rescue Mission that I found on Facebook. (Sorry, but I had to give them a plug because they do awesome work helping Soldiers and Marines bring animals home that we adopted while deployed and they need all the help they can get. 10g with 4 lampeyes, 5 black neon tetras and over 60 shrimp.

possibly a 5 line skink(it hasnt been seen in awhile but it might be alive)

- Like Lepi, possibly a corn snake who hasn't been seen for a couple of months...but 2 things one the mice problem in the house seems to be gone....and they can live in a variety of climates lol
Thats it lol nothing special...guess its a lot for a 16 year old lol.....might be picking up something at the upcoming reptile show.
