Wow. I was thinking of getting Discus for tank mates, but dunno now.
Any idea how the rays went about killing them prior to eating them?

I remember seeing the ray thrash the fish from side to side, in order to rip the fish body up, kinda like a dog or tiger would...
the hardest thing in any ray tank is sorting out fish for the mid water

- Considering that this thread is really old, Ive finally got them housed with my rays.
I'd say to steer clear of adding any bottom dwellers. The Giant Danios were a good try, I am suprised the ray caught them. But I would shoot for a fish that swims the upper level of the tank.
