I think I will be okay. I have smaller fish in there and I have never seen him even attempt anything with them.

Similar sized Irwins and Dats work well with Aros and rays. You need something with spikes or armor.

By feeding live fish you have been training your fishes to kill, don't blame them when they do so.

Today I found my 17" tor tambroides floating in the FGT. Upon inspection, there's a big and deep cut near to the mouth region. one of the ray must had stung him.
