When rays attack part III

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
its the eyes you need to watch out for my rays were always after my flagtail and got it a few times but no damage

then one day my female got the flagtail pinned down again and sucked out both of its eyes :irked:

rays dont seam to like the feel of Dats my rays get the dats all the time but once they feel the sharp dorsal fin they let them go as fast as they got them

Dats and rays are a good mix

my ray actually did this to my green sev. now i have a one eyed pirate ARRRRHH!!! (in another tank btw)

so do you think the claws on the frt will help it against my ray?

im thinking that one battle will teach both the frt and ray to steer clear of each other??

im just hoping that the one battle doesnt result in a casualty!!!:irked:

rays and FRT you must be crazy to even think about putting them in the same tank

i know, i know LOL...just a thought - ive been way to scared to do it, love both of them to much to risk it - esp. after redtails experience =0(

it just seems like other people do it and get away for it, for awhile anyways....

(just gotta remind myself that other people who do it are taking a huge risk and that its only temporary till something really bad happens)

yeah I had to many to decide.

1)All this over a dispute of who's bubble wand that was.

2)He was just trying to be freindly.

3)It looked like a nightcrawler

4)I don't see you catching any of your meals... you should have let him keep his trophy you basturd!

i have always kept rays and aros

but i did have a 2yr brake from rays when i tryed FRT to see what all the fuss was about my aro used to keep the FRT in its place but as soon as i sold the aro and was waiting for my new xback the FRT was lefrt in the tank with a scarlet pleco and a few TIGER (dats)

As soon as the aro was removed the FRT started to kill fish for fun and i had to remove the scarlet pleco from the FRTs mouth a few times when i saw him swimming around with it

FRT also mess up the water bad

Your ray sure is a killer. My male took out a 7in jag, and he was only 8in.
