the best walleye bait is a jig head tipped with one of these minnow, night crawler, leech, or a soft plastic curl tail grub.

well today didnt turn out so good we fished from 7:30 to 2:30 lost a lot of jigs we used mainly pinks, oranges and yellow grubs and then got back at it for another hour or so after we went out to eat left with nothing but i did pick up a pair of buffalo head cichlids and a huge piece of drift wood ill probably go back next Friday when I get back from Indy.

AGREED! But I'll probably fish the Barbee chain across the street. If you know the area you know those lakes are as good as anything up north as far as musky numbers.

I love that chain as well. One of my favorites is big chapman, just because I spent a lot of time there as a kid.
