I shop at jurassic pets and what you say is true Gator. Aquarium Adventure is Way 2 over priced but they have some rare fish in there on ocasion. I was in Aquarium Adventure once and they had a RTC at about 1" or so , they wanted $115.00 for it , I had to lmao on that one. Now im not one to bad mouth a store but its one store you should stay clear of and thats Adriatic Pets on E. 185 St. They wont even give you a guarantee on on any fish and the smell in that store is terrible.......just a heads up....ill shut my big mouth now

Another good place to check out is Tropical Aquarium in Brunswick. The owner can get almost anything in. Plus, he has a group of beautiful rays on display.
Another ohio'in here. Been to wet pets, rms, aquarium adventure, tropical aquarium, they are all pretty cool for differen't reasons. Another one you might want to try is Two turtles, in fairlawn. They carry some cool fish also.

Thanks for the info. Jurassic is located at 26000-c Chardon Road in Richmond Heights , its in a plazza. I try to support the lfs's as much as I can but IMO its cheaper to mail order. I would suggest giving them a call to see if they have anything that would catch ya interest. I use crayfish as feeders and most of the time I get mine from RMS or Jurassic. If you're ever in Northeast part you should REALLY shop at or check out Neptunes Cellar (basement of Ben Franklin) in Amherst. The guy that runs it is really knowledgable and has a great selection of healthy fish. Thats the only place i'll buy from!
Pet Junction in stow is ok, the main pull there is the two african redline snakeheads that live there 
im in cincy and would love to know of a dif lfs besides jacks and just about fish. any one know of any in cincy area?

Wet Pets is pretty good. Owner is a little crazy but hes a good guy.
Aquatics and Exotics is a really nice place. They have a 10K gallon pond/tank with two reef sharks in them. Usualy always has big cats and cichlids.
House of Tropicals is on River Rd and they usually have a few things there as well. Have TONS of pirahna. I think they actually breed them there..
I usually hit Monfort Aquarium although they never have much and then I hit all the Jacks just in case I would stumble on a nice trade in..

Im in the dayton area , Im so excited im in the process of setting up my 180 gal that i bought 50% off at jacks aquarium and pets , I built a really cool stand and im going to post it on the DIY forum as soon as it is done cycling and i get my fish in there. Im glad there is so many ohio pepps , good luck in the hobbie every one
