where are my mfk's?

hmm...how many could I fit...1?
im on a relatively tight budget right now, so id say...$70. hahaha but im flexible. I would like to get one from a private breeder if anything.

and how about sterlets? they are rarely seen in aquariums over 18" and it takes them a long time to grow one they hit the 10" mark.
 
You could probably get 4 juvi Pbass for $70, at least at my LFS. You might wanna grow them out a little before putting them with the RTC, or put in a divider.

from my experience, get 1 or get 4. if you get them in pairs or even 3, on will establish dominance and pick on the other ones.

if you can't upgrade until a year, that 55 won't hold 4 pbass with your rtc. your RTC is going to hit a growth spurt soon. They get from 6" to 12" fast. If you only have a 55 for a while, i'd say get a couple of oscars and a red belly pacu. the pacu's will act like the pbass so don't get pairs or trios.

its a 4 foot tank, 75g not a 55, but I see where youre going. what if...

I stick with the RTC, get a Pbass of some kind. if anybody knows where to order one it would be great. and I also have a giant sailfin pleco. I forgot to mention it.

so is there anything else I could get into that tank comfortably? :naughty:
 
Your kidding rite. First off he has a 75 not a 55, and your saying that the Pbass would get to big and so your recommending a Pacu which can grow to over a foot in less than a year and get about 3 feet or longer. Plus a oscar has a similar growth rate to a Pbass and get about the same size which also would make it no different. NOOB

what about my RTC, a pbass, my pleco, and possibly a payara? or bad idea? just wondering.
 
Just come buy my mono, he's only about 6". There's a lfs in this direction that has pbass also about the same size. I think it's better to have groups. They seem to move around more as groups. Whenever I've had just one, it just floats there pretty much.
 
would you be willing to meet for a few extra bucks?
