What dont you understand, 99% of members here are from USA and not europe we dont have access to these CHEAP pearls your talking about so that does not matter here. And AGAIN the answer to person from USA who asked why dont you see WC pearls here in USA is THERE IS NO QUOTA THEY ARE ILLEGAL to export, and yes we all know they will be exported illegally for sure.
 
Well The problem is the price... Mike you have the pearl price, so in Europe trade the price from WC rays are not interesting... They are to high... But in Asia market this is different... The asian people love exclusiviness, so as hard or unique the fish are, the pice increase... And For sure they are going to export illegally... Every Peacock bass or Wolf fish, or big cat fishes like Piraiba (Brackyplatystoma filamentosum) are illegal(and every jumbo fish except the B.tigrinum), so why shoudn't export the rays ????? I can't undestand why people criticise the illegally pearl or P14 exportation when every jumbo fish that came out of Brasil are illegal ???? Check the list of thefish that are allowed to export from Brasil, and seach if has any Cichla sp, or Hoplias macrophtalmus, or hydrolycus sp.

From what I know, pearl prices are very low in asia too atm.
 
Not they are not..... The prices of all rays that are being export are very high.... 30% or more than when was exported ilegally, 6 months ago.....

No thats not true.

We can just export our cheap rays to the USA. And thats also whats going to happen. Same thing with leos. :popcorn: :ROFL:
