Ok This weekend really wasn't all that great... My 300 gallon tank seems to have not only crashed the filters but also developed a leak which meant that I had to move the RTC to a smaller tank (50 gallon :irked:) which caused some serious stress onto it ... which means that he puked... which caused another issue with the filters on the 50G as they still hadn't adjusted to him being back in the tank and I was going through a mini cycle... So I needed to take the filters from ANOTHER tank for him, which meant that my 3 new TSN's needed to be moved in WITH HIM... I've been losing sleep worring about these 3 little guys in there ... with HIM...I'm getting that sneaking feeling that someones not going to make it :(, He does seem to be on a hunger strike right now though so ... I might get lucky and he won't attack them...he's only taken 3 feeders all weekend which are in the tank with them to help with the bioload and seeding the filters ... which are all attached to the 50G at the moment.

On the upside... I Think that I can save the 300G and it'll just be a matter of cycling the filters which is already in the process...Oh well Life sucks like that sometimes LOL.

Yeah so ... this is what has me all nervous right now... LOL

Check out the Right side of the tank ... talk about holding your breath everytime this happens...

Then if I'm lucky ... as I have been ... this is usually what seems to be happening .. I'm sure he's just "tasting the sampler" waiting till I'm not looking then he'll have that ... "I don't know what your so upset about" look on his face... you know the one... with the tail hanging out of his mouth... Yeah that one!

seperate the tank with a peice of plexi, and drill holes in it... or a divider that you can go get at a lfs somewhere. Just give the rtc more room then the otehrs. Then you wont have to worry.

Sorry to hear about the problems

Why a filter crash ????

And definitely get a divider for that tank or even put the little guys in a tupperware container with holes and just let them float around. When that RTC gets comfy they will be expensive feeders for sure.

Good luck and keep us posted.
