I just got over a cascade failure in our 150 gallon tank. The Pbass we were growing out for the big tanks hit a growth spurt and added bio-load faster than the bio-filters could keep up with. I changed ALL the media out for established media, moved a couple of the larger guys and dosed with bio-spira. Everythings back to normal.
oh man that was bad losing the tank even though for some time
living in anxiety about the tsns(i was literally holding my breath while reading this)
anyways its good that the TSNs are doin good but that looked like a close shave
even i have been having probs with my fish lately
my albino clarius catfish died yesterday
and i was stupid enough to add a metallic shade crown tail betta into the tank where i have my 5" gar and the RTCxTSN, i didn't even see the betta swim around in my tank and it was sucked in by someone and both the gar and the cat had a huge stomach
and i was yet again stupid to keep the new ornates i bought along with a common pleco and one of the tiniest ornates tail is damaged now
