where do you buy most of your fish .

I only buy from a LFS(Uncle Neds) over an hour away, carries quality cichlids that I can't find around here, have 2 cheezy LFS, petco & petsmart near me.
 
I buy most of my fish from a two very nice LFS in my area. I also purchase online from friends on various forums and off of aquabid on occasion. I only order online if I am placing a larger order though because shipping costs are not worth it otherwise. I am also joining a fish club in my area, so I am sure I will purchase fish at the auctions as well.
 
i buy when i see what i like, and have or can make room far..i ahve driven well over an hour to buy fish from a guy from a local fish group.

we have a cool lfs here that i buy from.. i can get bigger c/sa cichlids from.. that is mainly what they have..very few africans.. i buy all my part and supplies and food from them..they are about 30 min from the house..

we have a petco,and petsmart with in 20, i occasionally buy from..i have even bought some of my favorite fish(gold severums) from my local walmart..i picked up a nice pair of jack dempseys i grew out a lil from walmart and they are quite pretty fish..

i ahve ordered some online and got great fish.. fish did great, till my tank busted and well... thats for anotherr thread:(

im not picky as long as the fish is what im looking for and they are healthy
 
I got 3 lfs's in my area which are all pretty decent. I found the key is to go to each pretty regularly cuz their stock changes all the time.
 
Local fish club auctions, other hobbyists, Ken Davis (fishfarm) b/c I don't have to pay shipping, and occasionally fish stores if they can special order something I want or have a good deal
 
I have that LFS here that does anything to please their good paying customers. There are about 10 in my area that I can go to but 8 are in it to just make a buck. And the other just sells cichlids.
 
i dont live near lfs but the city wer i work about an hours drive their are lots of lfs at competitive prices and i cut out durring work to go there while im on payed time..so i get twice as juiced shopping at the lfs i goto...

i would buy online but id like to choose my own and not have to pay and wait for shipping

i use craigslist for fish as well
 
I have purchased all of mine from online vendors. The ones I've kept have been from fishfarm, TUIC, and Bluegrass Aquatics.

I'm in SD as well :) What LFS's do you go to? I really like Pet Kingdom and Aquatic Warehouse (though they are often overpriced).
