Where to Find Pot Scrubbers

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I bought a crap load at the dollar store, I think they were about a bag of six or eight for a buck. So even 60 of them for 10 bucks is ceap enough.
I went to 3 around me they all were sold out so my only real option was to order it in bulk and pick it up.

The lady even told me we run out of these quick people buy these in bulk for some reason haha

Why not just put a want ad up in the marketplace... That's what I did and someone hooked me up with hundreds and hundreds for about 40 bucks.

10% off using DECOR as well. Not bad for the price. I just used the link I just had it shipped to the store and picked it up. I only got 100 but I can fit easily 200 more in my sump but I use it for "holding" fish lol When a fish is bad or I'm going to sell it it stays there until transport for ease of catching it.

Those 8-packs for $1 are available in pretty much all the dollar stores and smaller home/hardware stores in the Buffalo NY area.

dumbass question, can i throw in some pot scrubbies fully submerge and it still be as good as ceramics?

I asked this since I have 100 submerged. They will be beneficial bacteria on them so its still good to have it in your sump. I was going to use ceramic rings but I'm cheap lol

Anyone know how they would compare to lava rock submerged? Im building my filter now so I'm buying scubbies for the dry and was going to go with lava rock for the submerged "drawer"

pot scrubbies has more surface area but lava rock is cheaper. i use them all in my sump, along with ceramic rings and seachem matrix
