The better thing to do instead of supercharging it (assuming it's a GT), would be to swap an L32 (or L67) top end on the L36. You get a little higher compression and a better gear ratio (GT's have a lower ratio than GTP's). You'd need to swap in an HD differential in, though. If you do that and don't do any mods, you will need to put a larger pulley on the supercharger. Just something to think about. Glad you got out of there without paying a whole lot of money. They do have "mushier" pedals than a lot of cars, but I've been driving cars with "mushy" pedals since I started to drive. I prefer them to most touchy Ford pedals. But, like I said, if you want a firmer pedal, put some SS lines on there and, if you'd like, put 4th gen f-body brakes up front or, better yet, GP GXP brakes all around (if you do either, you will need the SS lines, anyway).
