Where's my car members? I need some help.

sweet, hope it's up to your standards when you get it back.

Yea its seems it was the air. Mechanic said that the grand prix is known for a sloppy pedal. I guess its something the look for when I buy a supercharged one down the road to with my stang

Car is back. Had a froze up caliper this morn when they went to put the tires on but they fixed that cheap. $100 after all was done and the car feels great now.

Good, sounds like it worked out well then. Usually a frozen caliper can be detected while driving, since the lack of braking power on one side can make it pull to the opposite side. If you didnt feel any pulling while braking it may have been partially frozen. Either way replacing it would have been the way to go so it sounds like youre good to go.

The better thing to do instead of supercharging it (assuming it's a GT), would be to swap an L32 (or L67) top end on the L36. You get a little higher compression and a better gear ratio (GT's have a lower ratio than GTP's). You'd need to swap in an HD differential in, though. If you do that and don't do any mods, you will need to put a larger pulley on the supercharger. Just something to think about. Glad you got out of there without paying a whole lot of money. They do have "mushier" pedals than a lot of cars, but I've been driving cars with "mushy" pedals since I started to drive. I prefer them to most touchy Ford pedals. But, like I said, if you want a firmer pedal, put some SS lines on there and, if you'd like, put 4th gen f-body brakes up front or, better yet, GP GXP brakes all around (if you do either, you will need the SS lines, anyway).

No this ones actually just a 3.1 SE. Just a winter beater. Would like to find a nice gt or gtp. I like my body style but the new grand prixs have V8s so I'm not sure which I would like in the future. Most likely selling this car and my stang to start a build

pwmin I checked out the forum. Some nice cars. Not easy finding a 97-03 gtp in good shape in my area.

Cap off....???? I hope ur not talking about the brake fluid reservoir... When bleedin brakes turn car on and bleed both sides... (Always start with the side furthest away from the brake reservoir...) and make sure ur brake reservoir is full with brake fluid with lid closed....
