Pics looks clear for a camera phone. But that up to you if you really don't wanna post pics with.

I would still lean toward polypterus bichir lapradei and not polypterus bichir bichir as the set of eyes is way to far apart compare to a pbb which have a bit closer eyes. Head is also not very robust. But only way to tell them apart if you're able to take pics of it side view.

that is bcuz i have a 3.2 meg camera phone. it is not bcuz i dont want to post pic but i have been busy. with a FT job and studying it can b difficult to muster time to take pic n upload. please patience and the pic will come

Yep 100% Polypterus bichir lapradei "Nigeria"
Nice one too! At a bare bottom, the base color and contrast of the patterns is amazing! Lap are the hardiest bichir to bring out there color and your lap stand out from all the laps that I've seen.

I have a koliba too and koliba's pattern are more mottled racing stripes.
Here is my Koliba. This just gives me an idea that this is a new species. Just waiting for a biologist to describe this one to have a proper latin name so the koliba would have it's own name.
