go with black, i used blackboard paint its cheap and dry's quick and you can get it from B&Q

I happened to be cleaning the back glass of tank, and couldn't be bothered to stick the backing sheet back on. thought i'd see how the tigers would react, after a day.

I have black on all my tanks. I just like the look of it the best. I have heard that blue is supposed to have a calming effect, but I don't know how true that is.
