which background shall i go for?

i posted on this thread earlier, and id just like to share that i got a beautiful aquatic rocky background for my 30g at my local petsmart. who knew they had such nice backgrounds? :)
 
Thanks for all opinions and views. I 'll either try black or marine green (which is not very often seen) but looks great in my friends tank. Should anything drastic happen, I'll post some pics.

I know it wasnt an option but I like black and if not then blue
 
Not bad Ben. Never considered that. is it a white paper background you using or a painted white board?
 
Hi, I would recommend a "dark" background, Lightning in the front and the top covered in the back so that no direct light is in the back. My aquarium is 2,5 meter deep, half covered. This dark gives a true depth of the tank in my opinion . My 6 dats (5 > 40 cm) in this tank love the darkness when they feel stressed.

Hi Ron. Your tank looks amazing . Your absolutely right about the sense of depth . super looking tank, with aros, leo rays, ST and IT. ;)
