which cichlids attack or intimidate their owners?

convicts are angry little things.. they beat each other up over their fry.. and ANYTHING else in their way! (i know a few parents like that) lol but be careful my female jumped right out of the tank when i was cleaning the filter.. she was ok but i had to separate her from her babies..she was goin crazy mom on me

i am not sure how he (the male convict) will be as an adult, but right now he is the most peaceful cichlid in the tank, the blood parrot is very territorial and he chases everyone around the tank, but he does no damage, he even lunges at the bichir, they say (sites) that blood parrots are peaceful on the internet, but they are semi aggressive and territorial

my oscar sometimes has the audacity to flare up his gills at me, and bite me when Im cleaning the tank... those teeth are sharp!

Aside from guarding fry, I've never had a true "attack anything that moves" type of fish... I mean I've had some that were really aggressive towards other fish, but none (aside from guarding fry) would ever attack me. The guys I have now will chill right next to me and even watch what I'm moving in the tank... as close as a couple inches away from my hand. They only swim away if I move too fast and spoke them. I had a female Midevil, who would try to kill me while she was guarding eggs... she would attack the hell out of my net!!!
