My take on this is .... Bigfoot and any unknow primate spieces are out there. Parts of North America are still unmapped and vast as are south america and parts of southern asia.
Anything in the deep sea could be out there ... remember people laughed at the giant squid until it showed up on camera.
I think yetis are real I mean the primates in japan that survive winters there should be evidence enough of the possibility. However I think any undiscovered megafauna left has probably evolved to stay clear of humans at all cost. Think about how many species we have made extinct. Then think about how animals develop their defense mechanisms through evolutionary trial and error. It would make sense especially for say a bigfoot. It would be the only way they would survive.

Unfortunately, very much so, i do not think there is still a chance for large animals to remain undiscovered / undisturbed.
There are still human tribes out there, and God help them remain undetected, but they have the intelligence to hide, whereas an animal has not.
Now the desp seas is another thing, imho.
