I am attached to Canon (and will be for a long time) because I invested money in several L glass lenses. It's really a matter of preference, and you're going to get a really nice camera with either of those options.

Since you chose the Nikon - great! It's a very nice DSLR with a lot of capability. But if you see some features you may want to explore later on, you may want to think about saving up for them and getting them now, since it's a terrible climb to save again and unload your older dslr.

Yeah, everyone says that I need to think about future upgrades when choosing my cam, but tbh, I doubt I will ever really want to upgrade again after I have a decent camera. At most, I may eventually buy a few lenses, but I don't think I will ever want to pay any more than I will already be paying this time for a camera. Thanks for your input though. :)
