Which fish do you DREAD netting out? Which ones do you not mind?

when I recently moved my shoal of corycats I caught them by hand instead of using net. I have used net once with pictus and corys and I never do that again.

I've not personally netted any for a while, but I'd have to say that my African Black Knifefish is the easiest. When I'm using the net to get stuff out of the tank, it practically swims into it. As for the hardest, I'd have to say my pike cichlid. I've never personally netted him, but he's the quickest and most aggressive of all my fish, so I'd guess he would be the hardest. The del is also pretty hard to net.

I always wanted one of those but I never knew where to get one or what I would do with it..My emperor cichlid is a major pain to capture,I have to remove the entire top from the tank and he just about empties the tank with his thrashing.Payara are no walk in the park either for obvious reasons.

i absolutely dread netting out dead fish.

yep...

i hate having to catch any of my fish... every tank i have is either packed with plants or driftwood..

my 10-12" male Midas he like to grab ahold of the net and pull it in but once you get him netted half of the tank water is on the floor and my polys fast and are pretty good jumpers found that out last night moving them from the 65 to the 125.

My Pacu! She recognizes the net and darts all over the place, and when I finally get her out she gives one final smack RIGHT at the water surface and sprays me and everything around me ALL THE TIME! It's like she knows!

And when I put her back and does the exact same thing! Right at the surface she'll smack down with her tail and DRENCH me in water.

Also, she's really strong! She's probably 70% muscle LOL.

I don't mind moving goldfish, I guess. They're so mellow.

Plecos are a pain, they always go really taught and get stuck in the net
