I thought about that, but I like the Arowana to have the surface to itself, it really glides. Also Gars need feeders. I feed market shrimp.

I like the GT's, but I have had some NASTY ones that harassed EVERYTHING.

Are those Severum expensive? Do they grow quickly?

Where did you get the arowana in georgia?

my opinion is on dats...

fronts have different water requirements than aros....

but yes, dats is a VERY slow grower so you should get them on decent size...and make sur u don't get the brackish species...go w/ indo dats or wide bar dats if possible (wide bar dats are much much more expensice though)

i dont understand why noone ever suggested peacockbass..? :uhoh:
and gar would be great there too! (its a false impression that gars needs feeders) and gars doesnt always swim on the top.

you could go wit auru (sp)

maybe a larger barb
sevs
butti
Large angels (seen it done in a mag i have dunno if it was just for the pic or something)
ATF
fei feng
leperinos
needle nose fish
paraya
red hook silver dollarsor barred
iridescent shark
giant gourami

hows that to be getting on with?

would love pics to Follow

Your best bet would be Red Hook Silver Dollars, they are not aggressive and will fill in the middle of your tank well.Plus they are real fast so no one can snack on them.
