Which Gar Species would be ok with a RTC?

UPDATE: I took the risk and picked up a Gator Gar that I rescued last week at 17" and so far no problems as of yet. None of my other fish bugs him nor him bugging them. He is on Lake smelt. Eats about 3-4 full lake smelts and eats alot. I use a plastic rod/handle to feed him so he gets the same amount of food as for the others. It's amazing watching them eat. To be honest I'm not worried about my other fish picking on the Gar or it picking on them. I'm more worried about my Pacu as he is being the dominate one but he only picks on my Pbass. Will post pics of it once I have the time to.

good luck with it. at 17" i'd start preparing for a 4' fish. but with a 450gal you probably have a year or two before it(a larger tank/pond) becomes urgent. i'd worry about the pacu chewing on the gars snout though. we had a member have that happen to his gars after a pretty long cohabitation. pbass wise, i'd worry about the gar shredding the crap out of them, and about them spooking the gar into breaking it's back. controlled feeding (not having the bass make sudden zooms or snatch food out of the gars mouths) could help lower the chances of this happening. agan, good luck, and post pics quick:)
