F FinalBoss Jack Dempsey MFK Member Apr 22, 2012 22 47 31 Mar 21, 2018 #21 I’m using a Jaeger 300w on my 200g tank. Ambient temp is 71 degrees and I heat to 79 degrees. No problems and it cycles on and off just a few times an hour. It is pretty long but it sits in the sump so it’s not a big issue.
