Which is better the fluval fx5 or the rena filstar XP4

I am new to canister filters and wanted to know which is better the FX5 or the Filstar XP4.

I have several renas and like them alot, but for a little more money I think the fx5 wins. I do think the Rena is easier to perform maintenance on, but the fluval wins every other category IMO

FX5 for sure. This is coming from someone who owns an FX5 and an XP3.

fx5 holds a lot more media and moves a lot more water.

All around fx5 hands down. Dont need to prime fx5 ever, it holds more media, has a higher flow rate, has quick valve disconnect shut offs.

I can only comment on the rena's.

i currently have 3 XP4's up and running, i love all 3 of them.
