Yeah Asian aros look amazing. Silvers also look stunning but thr Asian aros are second to none. I also like jardini / leicardt more then silver mainly due to drop eye being so prominent and they are a lot cheaper over here.

Silvers are the best. I've also had a black arowana too. I think blacks are nice but as they get older their fins seem to shrink and their colors fades. I currently have a Jardini too. Its colors changed and turned more orange/red as it aged. I also had a leichardti arowana. They are also very nice, but not as hardy as jardinies. I raised African arowans too, they are very interesting but much harder to take care of. I just recently bought a silver arowana a few months back. I think they are the most beautiful. Their tail and fin colors can range from yellow to pink to even red. They also have the longest fins and barbels of all arowanas. The tail fin is also much bigger and more rounded than the black arowans. When they swim, they are most graceful. They also grow the fastest and grow to large sizes. Lastly they are from the Amazon river and I just love the Amazon river.

I have one huge silver (34") and 3 large greens (18-22") and they are both amazing species of arowanas. I'm in the middle on this one

... but if I could add another aro, it would be asian. :)

Didn't know there was such a thing as SA arowanas.

Really? Pretty much common knowledge that both silver and black arowana are from SA.

Personally I would choose black aros over any asians if I could only keep one.

Asian arowana because there are just so many choices when it comes to them. Plus more finnage means more rips meaning a less appealing fish, but still somewhat graceful. Jardini's are basically a poor man's Asian arowana IMO, but I'd have a Jardini over a silver. So Asian arowana!
