My biggest question to the OP/people recommending solutions without knowing the problem, what type of algae are we trying to get rid of?

Well since he said this I went for what I think is the best all around cleaner. I dont think you can beat a bristlenose for all around cleaning by a fresh water fish. Of course you still need human maint.
A comment and request from someone who is doing research years after a thread has ended..not everyone is versed on acronyms for species. Threads will be referenced years later and many will not know what species your referring to . With that in mind, please spell out what the acronym means. ......thank you
