Which is the most aggressive SA/CA cichlid in your experience/opinion?

The meanest nastiest fish I have ever kept were Hericthys sp.Tamul. The darn fry at 1/2" would knock out 2" africans. The female had to have a hen and chick pot to hide in from the male. Smaller sub-dom males, growing out, wouldn't co-exist no matter how big of a tank I put them in.

I take my previous statement back; The most aggressive I have encountered is a jewel cichlid

I have 3 jewels ordered from the LFS , since I gave her my red devil the lady gave me credit. She had a mated pair and we wanted them because I noticed their fry. If I hadnt told her they were guarding fry she would have sold me the pair we wanted. But we're gonna see. We are getting 3 this week.

I can say the LEAST aggressive cichlid ever has to be the chocolate, mine runs from nightcrawlers!

my 14" male umbee runs the tank even with against my 13" breeding pair red devils and 13" flowerhorn pair.

IMO I would say Black Nasty/Hawaiian Cichlid.

Im going to say the most aggressive ive ever kept is my 12" hybrid Texas/Jag, he's a tank to himself he's that bad !
