you didn't explain that in general, i thought just based on your first posted pics.

The voting is based on the first posted pics. I am deciding between wild caught delhezi with good solid stripes or an ornate. I plan to keep the poly I buy for life so how the poly looks as adults really matters. So far I'm leaning towards delhezi since even as adults the delhezi have good stripes, while the ornates have faded body patterns.

IMO, Delz are better in the fact that they are smaller, so it's easier to house. Ornates tend to be nippy (at least the ones I have and had in the past).

Delhezi grow slower, they dont get as big and powerful/majestic as ornates do. They are not as agressive and monsterus as ornates are and so on..

It depends on what you are after, dont decide only on their looks but think of the other important things aswell. Big is beutiful

I really like the body/look of the ornate, the ornate clearly wins in the monsterous look.

Ahhh, your ornate looks like something from freaking ''River Monsters". If the adult ornates look like the baby ornates... I might have to do ornate instead.
