About 3 years ago it was peaked
The black ray boom never started or ended the same people have always liked them it's just the prices that change
If marbles suddenly when up in price to $2k and black rays dropped to $50 that wouldn't change what I like
If the boom is over like you say it is they why are all the people who used to say I wish I could buy a black ray not buying them now if the boom is over and the prices have come down
When I first started keeping normal Leo the price was £90-125 and that was 20 years ago and no one was breeding rays so they were all wild caught
Leo's now are a much better grade now and sell for £350-450 which I think as the prices are back to what they used to be if you take into account the 20 years of raising fuel prices and import taxes I think the prices are very fair now if you also look at good marble prices which are £300 the £350-450 for a leoxbd is a great price
There was never a boom as not many people were will to pay $2k for a bd if anything you will get more of a boom now as prices have come down
You will never get a boom as you put it on flower or tiger rays as they get to big and are hard to keep
A good black ray just out classes other ray they have always been the nices pure bloods around you can't beat a high grade bd or p14
Now everything is getting mixed up with hybrids it give people a chance to get something different as its hard to breed 2 hybrids from different litters that look the same
People are mad if they buy and sell fish of any kind just to keep up with current booms
