They get a "list" once a week or once a month from whichever suppliers/breeders they order fish from. If it's not on the list they can't order it.
If you are thinking about the brevis or occies, I would definitely recommend the occies, they are very entertaining. The brevis are slightly easier to breed, but are a little boring otherwise. I'm thinking about selling my brevis to make room for another species, but I won't be giving up my occies anytime soon.

yeah occcies are a crazy lil shell dweller. My first fish that ever bit me was a gold occie. He just latched on to my forearm and held on for a few seconds
yeah brevis are ultra boring compared to occies. But i also think multies are boring compared to similis

I was over ran with fry. I had one male and 2 females that i kept out of 5. The male would keep em both producing. Lots of shells around so mom would kick emout after 14 days and do it again and again and again.

nah good deal. They are prolly zambian blues, just a regional morph of the gold occies. I would order off davesrarefish.com he has a killer choice of shellies and good prices. Plus he is very good to deal with
What tyoe shell dwellers are planning to have? I throw a lot of shells and let them choose. I do not like those who are too big.
