...... "Oreo" (my daughter named him lol) is eating about 5 times a day now and has a few temporary tank mates incl. an angelfish, molly, corydoras and a few tetras. He's by far the most polite and sharing cichlid I've ever known ( he shares food with my 6" angelfish which is just NOT supposed to happen but.........."Lucy"(angel) is my little fish whisperer so to speak.............

AWESOME fish! I've been following your thread and had almost the exact same list of fish to choose from. Unlike you I couldn't make up my mind so I bought V. Argentea, Regani, and Black Belt.

I know what u mean. My argentea has been so peaceful. ( to the other cichlids , not so much to my red hooks ) I love the combo and don't think I could have picked any better. But looking at the pictures everyone posted Zo and Syn are my next two purchases as of right now
